Additional Details

  • The Ear Gone shapes can help fit hats or other headgear on the figure, or scale down the ears as desired.
  • Some extreme expressions may cause the mouth to clip through the lower jaw slightly. While the Mouth Up-Down pose can help, the included shape Oso Corgi Lower Jaw Expand can more gently pull down the bottom of the jaw to correct the issue.
  • Applying the lowest quality preset that still looks satisfactory will help speed up renders, as will hiding parts of the fur that shouldn't be visible. The default value is good for reasonably close body portraits, while quality 2 is sufficient for most larger shots, and quality 1 may be enough for more large-scale compositions.
  • When extending the tongue, it's often helpful to move the tongue up and widen the tip for an appropriate canine look.
  • The Slim style is easier to fit under clothing while still retaining a characteristic look. Trim style may be useful when attempting a very different type of figure.
  • To make a good match between skin and fur, the skin uses makeup channels with the fur color maps. However, to get the colors to work best, use LIE to set the maps in makeup to Gamma 5, otherwise the skin will look significantly lighter/washed out compared to the fur.
  • There is an included Fur Age preset that whitens the ends of the fur. This can be tailored as desired by adjusting Root to Tip Bias (lower values, less apparent whitening). The tips can also be changed in color for other effects (such as darker tips).
