HD Bite Marks Infected Add-On for Genesis 8 and 8.1 Males extends the usage of the base product by providing infected textures that correspond to 20 (of 22) HD Morphs of human bite marks. This is perfect for establishing the result of a zombie or monster bite, as an infection starts to spread on the body of the victim.
CAN WORK AS A STAND-ALONE PRODUCT
While this product is thematically tied to the base product “HD Bite Marks,” the infection textures can be used by themselves as shown in some of the promos. So, strictly speaking, this product doesn’t really require the base product but still benefits from the HD morphs. You can always stack Geoshells for more variation to the effects (like having blood pour out of the infection, for example). Whether your character defiantly shows he's fighting against his infection or does his best to hide it from his companions as his skin corrodes is up to you!
The pack consists of 2 Geoshell Wearables, 6 Material Presets, 20 LIE Mask Presets (two of the morphs are unsupported - Neck Base Left and Neck Right), and 9 partial material presets for further customization. The product works with both Genesis 8 and 8.1* Males. Opacity Presets, Moisture Presets, and Displacement Presets have also been included to help you refine the final look. And since the presets are applied via a Geoshell, not only is the load time for LIE vastly reduced (as the LIE only applies a mask to the cutout opacity channel), but you can control the look regardless of how your character skin has been set up and you can tweak in a non-destructive way from within the comfort of DAZ Studio's Surface Pane. You can likewise mix and match materials by applying more than one Infected Geoshell (just be sure to tweak the offset if needed).
