• Dress simulation
  • Several tests were done to find the optimal simulation settings for the dress, for a wide variety of poses.
  • Being a tight fitting garment, as in real life some poses will not be suitable for use with this dress. For best results, use the animated simulation options, otherwise you will need to use the lower dress bones to adjust the position of the dress to follow the figure. The lower dress does not autofollow the figure because this would cause it to stick to the thighs and cause unnatural stretching and deformation, especially when the legs are close together. JCM's have been included to help with this.
  • Whilst it may slow down the simulation a bit, it's also recommended to keep smoothing on so that the dress keeps its structure and doesn't create any unrealistic folds for this type of garment.
  • As this is a strapless garment, a custom dForce weight map has been painted around the breast area which should prevent the garment from slipping down during simulation.

• Earrings
  • Minor adjustments to the Rigid follow nodes will be necessary for some shapes, to ensure correct placement on ear lobes - this should only be for shapes with more extreme height differences.
