Looking for something that is not shiny and new? Here are some old furniture pieces inspired by Scandinavian and Italian styling of the 1950s that are worn, dirty, scratched, and somewhat battered. For the kitchen, there's a 1950s style kitchenette table with a patterned formica top. The top comes in 2 material presets: with or without cigarette burns. Three versions of kitchen chairs are provided. One version is in a good state of repair, while the other 2 versions are either ripped or broken. To fill out a small kitchen scene, there is also a 1950s-styled wall clock and radio. All 3 hands of the wall clock are rigged and can be rotated, and the needles of the radio can be moved to tune into the local radio station. For the living room, a classic couch is provided. The couch is in decent shape but includes morphs to make it sag and look beat up. In addition, there are sitting morphs to alter the shape of the seat cushion. These sitting morphs match the included poses for Genesis 8 figures posed on the couch. To flank the couch, there is a side tableand a coffee table. A detailed black-and-white television rounds out any 1950s living room scene. The channel selector dial on the TV can be rotated to pick 1 of the many channels (from 1 to 12). A hospital-styled bed painted in hospital green comes with a smart-propped mattress, which can be used with the bed or placed on the floor. The mattress comes with 2 material presets and includes several morphs to simulate someone sleeping in the middle or sitting at the side. A bedside table with drawers that open can be used next to the bed. There is also a 1950s-styled lamp with a smart-propped light bulb. The style of the lamp fits in with either a living room or bedroom scene. There are several additional props to help fill out the scene. Two types of antennas are provided. Both antennas are rigged so that they can be rotated and retracted. An old (North American) wall outlet is provided. Three styles of ancient power cords are smart propped to the wall outlet. All of the power cords are static props with 2 of the cords corresponding to the different heights of the side tables. The third cord is designed to plug into the back of the TV. Lastly, an ashtray and cigars are provided. The ashtray comes with 2 material presets and smart-propped cigar ashes. Wearable presets are provided to place the cigar into the hands of Genesis 8 Male or Female characters with 2 types of grips to choose. Please note that the characters, clothing, and the room used as the backdrop in some of the promotional images are not included.
