Embroidered Fabric Shaders is a collection of Iray shader presets featuring unique, high-quality embroideries. These embroideries have been carefully hand-extracted from scans of real-world needlework. Each design is presented seamlessly on the same 2 base fabrics (1 cotton and 1 linen), so you can mix and match embroideries while keeping a unified base fabric. The collection includes floral designs, geometric designs, full-color embroidery, whitework, and cutwork.

Through the use of masks, thread and fabric are controlled through separate channels within the default Daz Studio Iray shader. This allows you to change the underlying fabric color without affecting the thread color. The maps themselves are complete, with each map including base fabric and embroidery together, so you can use the maps in other applications without needing to re-combine partial maps. LIE is not used in these presets.

Included are 40 fabric color presets that affect the diffuse base color only. For the whitework designs, 40 whitework thread color presets are included. It is not recommended to use these on the full-color embroidery designs; instead, each full-color design has 4 additional colorway variations.

Every embroidery design comes in 2 versions: 1 on linen for a sheerer and looser weave and 1 on cotton for a more opaque and regular weave.

There are multiple tiling presets, including a couple of less-common settings: 0.5×0.5 and 1.5×1.5. These presets will work with any tiling shader. There are also presets to offset the pattern in increments of 0.25, 0.5, and 0.75, so you can quickly align a design where you want it. Fabric sheerness, fabric shine, and thread shine round out the utility presets.

Lastly, the embroidery hoop featured in these promos is included as a standalone prop and as a smart prop for Genesis 8 Female and Genesis 8 Male with a custom hand pose and 5 material presets to change the color of the outer hoop.
