Additional Details

  • This product requires Pirate Props for Genesis 8.1 Male and Genesis 8.1 Female.
  • Character Animation
    • Prepare Animation script must be run on the figure and it's components (ie. extra body parts) before applying any animations or the animations will not appear as intended. To apply the script, with the figure or its component selected, double click the icon in the animation folder labeled “Run First”. After this script is run, the figure will be ready for animations to be applied.
  • Prop Animation
    • Some animations include the use of props. You must also have the prop content in order to correctly apply those particular animations. For example, if the character is using a beer mug in the animation, you must have the beer mug prop to apply the beer mug animation. Prop animation can be divided into two categories: simple and complex.
  • Simple Prop Animation
    • Some Animations use Wearables to apply Props. If there is a wearable which corresponds to a specific animation, with the figure selected just click on the wearable to apply the prop. It can now be used as intended in the animation. You must have the content to use the prop.
  • Complex Prop Animation
    • Prepare Animation script must be run on the figure and it's components (ie. props) before applying any animations or the animations will not appear as intended. To apply the script, with the figure or its component selected, double click the icon in the animation folder labeled “Run First”. After this script is run, the figure will be ready for animations to be applied.
  • Applying Animations to Figures and Props
    • Match animations by name. For example:
    • a) GPA Wolfgang 8.1 Cheers A
    • b) GPA Wolfgang 8.1 Cheers Beer Mug Prop B
    • c) GPA Wolfgang 8.1 Cheers Captain’s Table Position C
    • Apply a) to Wolfgang figure. Apply b) to the Beer Mug prop. Apply c) to the Captain’s Table prop.
  • Accommodating Outfits with Poses
    • Before any animation is applied, load the outfit on the unposed figure. If loading the outfit applied a pose to any part of the figure (such as the hands or feet to accommodate props or shoes), create a Pose Control for that pose. This will allow the pose to work with the animation as it is now additive.
  • Scripts included in this product include source or derivative code from the Scripting Samples provided here:
