WORKS FOR ANY 3D PACKAGE
While we’re using Maya in this series, the principles are all universal and can be followed in most other packages, like Blender, Modo, and 3ds Max. We use very few UV tools, where nearly everything is done with Unfold, Layout, and Cut Seams tools.
FULL UDIM LAYOUT
We cover how to make a full UDIM layout for our character, which is essential knowledge if you’re working with Mari. For films, all characters will use UDIMS, so this will give you a clear edge over your competition.
