Additional Details

  • While the hair is heavily populated with underlayers, due to the nature of the part and style, it is not recommended for poses that stand on its head or involve revealing the roots of the underlayers. It will, however, hold up to a large number of energic poses.
  • Additionally, the hair has been optimized for mid-range computers. This means that while it is a high-resolution hair in it's rendered state, the simulation state is kept as small as possible, which may limit the motion of the tips a bit in some extreme positions. Adjustment of the PS Points along the curve will give it more flexibility.
  • Due to the unpredictability of hair generation around things like ears and foreheads where the simulated strands are very tight to the skin, there are morphs included for assisting the final hair away from problem areas. If you run into trouble like pointed ears, pushing through the hair, it is recommended that you add about 10 frames to the beginning of your animation. In the 10 frames, start from the default shape, and then at the 10th frame morph in the ear, then continue on with your animation as needed, this should give the time for the hair to push through naturally. Touchup up with the loosen and lift morphs to fine-tune as needed with the rendered strands.
