Bring mass color to your reed beds, swamps and watery scenes with Wetlands Low Res Plants for Vol 2 - Flowering Plants! This great big bundle of low res plant models for Daz Studio and Iray allows you to create masses of color quickly and with out over-taxing your computer in the process. These models are designed to be used in mid to far distant positions in your renders, rather than close up (although detailed they are not perfect representations of the plants, but rather intended to look great at a distance!), thus enabling you to create huge swathes of planting and color either by placing the models individually or using instancing to create en masse plantings in just a few clicks! As always a little goes a long way and variations of scale and y rotation values will make one plant or clump look different with every instance! All of the plants included can have their materials swapped around with the included material presets, so if you have perfect plant with perfect placement but don't like the color, there's no need to load and place a new plant – just swap out the materials using the presets provided. I have provided material options where warranted, to enable you to change foliage color of flower color thus giving you greater control over the look of your plants. Although low resolution, the materials are created to use Iray's ability to depict translucency and depth of materials where needed to create a more realistic effect. If you've ever wanted to fill your ponds, lakes, rivers or creeks with lilypads, irises or loosestrife (which, at a pinch, can stand in for fire weed too), then this bundle of 29 plants will give you the ability to quickly create stunning ecosystems with a few clicks of your mouse!
