Crannogs are island dwellings that were built in lakes and rivers. They have a distinct 'celtic' distribution with 1500 known sites in Ireland and 400 in Scotland. They were constructed from ca. 2500 years ago and used up until the Medieval Period.

The mountains in the distance are low res and are intended to be used for background renders only. The snow peak mountains can be rotated around the set to add extra drama to a scene. The Crannog gates can be opened and closed.
