Underground Chapel is a detailed indoor environment set. This church, chapel or temple comes with a low-hanging wooden ceiling, checkered marble floor, and lots of columns and decorations.
All pieces are provided as separate props. All (except the walls) load centered and single, so placing them in another scene is easy. This set brings you 9 different types of candles with and without stand or wall mount, three different decorated chalices, three different life sized statues (pedestals are a separate prop!), three different columns, a church bench, an altar, a tapestry, a lattice paravent (room-divider) and a cupboard with drawers and doors that can be opened. The four different curtains load in with ceiling rail and wall mount for the cord.
The checkerboard floor tiles are provided as (low poly) tilable geometry, not just texture so that even closeups look natural. A single floor piece 5×6 tiles large. HD details have been carefully sculpted to avoid noticeable tiling artifacts. The tileable ceiling has two different wood textures and can be moved down to also work as floor.
The full preload is constructed from the props and grouped by wall side and type where applicable. This way you can quickly hide a side to look in (you should use iray sections planes for that though) and you can move every single prop independently.
In addition to the scene preload the set provides a group of cameras used for some of the promo images and a render preset that dials in a tone mapping that works with the candle light strength. All pieces are provided with a moderately low triangle count, while sculpted HD detail is expressed in normal maps. Underground Chapel Modular Environment is a must-have for your historical, religious, underground and renaissance renders.
