In space, no one can see you're… flat? Welcome to the asteroid field, a super cool space scene with a bunch of flat billboards with high-resolution textures of asteroids paired with gorgeous HDRI map of additional asteroids, stars, a black hole(!), and distant planets. This scene renders quickly, and has virtually no geometry (just a few flat planes!), but can still be used for advanced camera framing and effects, such as DOF (Depth Of Field). The asteroids can be moved, scaled and put in front or behind your ships/props… Render away!
