If you're a coastal city and the oceans are rising, you better have a plan. Tokyo does and it is affectionately referred to as the G-Can.

Cisterns are nothing new but the G-Can is massive. It's plan “A” and “B” in the event of ocean flooding.

It also makes for a interesting tourist location as well as a unique backdrop for films. Great for Sci-Fi renders, Horror or a Cold War Thriller.
