  • General Morph Types
    • The dress of this product loads with a selection of morphs and control dials (for the shins) designed to help you with fitting it. The morph categories are as follows:
      • Adjustments: Alter shape and fit of a piece.
      • Styles: contains shaping morphs which are designed to allow you to use multiple outfit pieces together.
      • Simulation Helpers: morphs which help to prepare a garment for simulation and/or to make corrections afterward
      • Controls: controls movement of the shin parts.
  • How to work with the Dragon Empress Outfit and dForce
    • If you want to set up a dForce simulation, please take the following steps:
      • 1. Load G8F into your scene
      • 2. Apply your chosen wearable preset to G8F
      • 3. Set up animation with 31 frames (you can raise this value if you want the dForce compliant parts to settle and drape fully)
      • 4. In frame 1, set a keyframe (click on the little key icon with the plus symbol inside, to the far right end of the bottom icon bar) with Genesis in default pose and your freshly loaded simulation ready wearables preset
      • 5. Go to frame 10, select a pose for Genesis, then add a new keyframe in pose 10
      • 6. Go to the Simulation tab inside DAZ Studio and change the following default settings: Start Bones from Memorized Pose - OFF, Frames To Simulate: Animated (Use Timeline Play Range), Collision Mesh Resolution: Viewport
      • 7. Hit the “Simulate” Button!
  • A few dForce Tricks
    • When simulating several pieces at once - like the skirts - you might experience some collision and clipping. In this case, try to change the collision item of a top layer of clothing to the underlying piece. For example, let the outer skirt collide with the inner skirt. To set/reset a collision item, go to the parameters tab of your selected outfit piece, navigate to the Collision“ section and select the desired item in the pulldown menu.
    • You can try a similar solution with the stola and the appropriate topmost skirt piece you are using in your scene.
  • Also, you can try to simulate the pieces in stages. For example, first, simulate the inner skirt, then freeze its simulation (check the option in the parameters tab of the outfit piece), then simulate the outer skirt, freeze its simulation, etc.
  • For the outer skirt, you will find a special morph to make collisions of the individual skirt blades less likely. It is called Skirt prep for Sim“ and can be found in the „Simulation helpers“ category of the skirt‘s morphs.
  • The Horncap and the Horns
    • Please make sure that the horn set(s) you want to use load autofitted and parented to the horn cap!
    • Autofitting them to Genesis will results in undesirable distortion when posing.
  • In some case head and body shapes may cause distortions on the horns. If that is the case, please select the horns, find the automatically generated matching head and/or body shape morph and manually set them to 0%. You will have to enable DS to show you the hidden properties in the parameters tab. To do so, click on the small icon (which looks like a stylized list) in the top left or right corner of the panel and check „Show Hidden Properties“.
  • The Jewels
    • All the jewel figures should be autofitted and parented to their respective base figure. This ensures that the jewels will follow all the morphs of the underlying parent figures.
