Additional Details

  • The bows on the shoes are props attached to rigid follow nodes, they will automatically follow any morphs applied to the shoes and not get mangled. In most cases they will be fine, in a few cases they might need some manual tweaking if you're rendering close-ups. If you bend the feet up they will turn themselves upside down, this is usually desirable as they look like they're hanging with gravity but if not it's easy to select them in the viewport and flip them back around.
  • There are some extra style morphs that push up the waist, arms, and legs, they'll only work if simulated from timeline or the normal starting pose (default dForce setting). It will look a mess before you simulate but as long as it starts the simulation at the “A” pose it will come out fine.
  • Simulation settings: “Collision Mesh Resolution” set to Viewport works best with this set and most other sets.
  • The materials for the prop shoes also work on the shoes without laces and the laces themselves in the “Single Items” folder, the H. Materials (the ones with legs sticking out of them) for the shoes only work on the shoes or the full set from the main folder.
  • The Single Items folder is mostly there for backwards and forwards compatibility with other figures because wearable presets with props attached to rigid follow nodes (like the shoes) often don't work with the auto conversion.
  • Anything that has “H.Material” on the top of the thumbnail is figure specific so don't be surprised if you try to apply a material from the female folder to the male and it doesn't do anything. Likewise, if you put this clothing on figures other than Genesis 8 you'll need to use the single regular material files and the prop shoe materials rather than the H. Materials.
  • General dForce tip: if you have two figures in the scene separate them before running the simulation so they don't grab each other's clothes and make a spectacular explosion. Translate their bases (Genesis 8 (fe)male in the scene tab), not their hip bones. Once the simulation is done you can move them back.
