The Alascanus outfit is the fitting attire for your merman!

It comes with a broad ornate collar, a dForce compliant kilt with rigged loin pieces and a nice pointy trident (for pesky sharks or for getting merman dinner) with a customizeable head and center prongs.

Utility poses for grasping the trident in left or right hand are included, as well as a a selection of eight texture sets for both the outfit pieces and the trident.

Hierarchical material presets are provided for easy one-click application of all materials at once. Wearable presets enable you to load the kilt and collar at once with a single click.

Below is a list of the installation package types provided by this product. The name of each package contains a Package Qualifier (WIP), which is used as a key to indicate something about the contents of that package.

• General Morph Types
  • The outfit of this product loads with a selection of morphs and control dials (for the shins) designed to help you with fitting it. The morph categories are as follows:
    • - Adjustments: Alter shape and fit of a piece.
    • - Movement: wind, twirl, lift and general movement morphs.
    • - Styles: contains shaping morphs which are designed to allow you to use multiple outfit pieces together.
    • - Controls: controls movement of the shin parts.
• How to work with the Alascanus Outfit and dForce
  • If you want to set up a dForce simulation, please take the following steps:
    • 1 - Load Load Genesis 8 Male into your scene
    • 3 - Apply the full wearable preset of dress and pants to Load Genesis 8 Male
    • 4 - Set up an animation with 41 frames
    • 5 - In frame 1, set a keyframe (click on the little key icon with the plus symbol inside, to the far right end of the bottom icon bar) with Genesis in default pose and your freshly loaded simulation ready wearables preset
    • 6 - Go to frame 15, select a pose for Genesis, then add a new keyframe in pose 15
    • 7 - Go to the Simulation tab inside Daz Studio and change the following default settings: Start Bones from Memorized Pose - OFF, Frames To Simulate: Animated (Use Timeline Play Range), Collision Mesh Resolution: Viewport
    • 8 - Hit the “Simulate” Button!
• How to use the Hierarchical Material Presets
  • These presets will apply the texture set of your choice to dress and pantie at once.
    • To use them, follow the steps below:
      • 1 - Load Genesis 8 Male into your scene
      • 2 - Apply the full wearable preset of collar and kilt to Load Genesis 8 Male
      • 3 - Select the Hierarchical Material Preset of your choice, either from Arki's or Shox-Design's material folder. With Load Genesis 8 Male selected, simply click on the preset.
