Funky name right? So why do you need this?
Products sold here are made to a very high standard of high-quality models and textures designed to look their best when the product is close to the camera and you can see all the details the product has to offer. But just like real life, the further away the item is from the camera, the less detail you can see. And regardless of how far away the item is from the camera, it will still use the same amount of vram because all the same textures are being loaded up, even though they are not noticable. That is unless you remove thoses same texutures to reduce the amount of vram being used. But that can be long, anoying and boring process to do manually. Thats where the Resource Saver Shader Collection comes in.
So what is it?
This is a set of shader and material presets designed to help you create the scene you want through the intelligent approach of removing resources from a scene that are not noticable and therefore not required.
Allowing you to render very large scenes without the need of an expensive video card and doing so within your current limits. There are also additonal utilities included to give you quick access to settings found elsewhere in Daz Studio. Allowing to reduce resource requirements without having to open other tabs.
Please read through the promos if you have not already. They go through a lot of useful information that will explain things that are going on in Daz Studio and Iray and what the different presets in the set are for and how they work.
