Not all installation packages provide files that are displayed to the user within the interface of an application. The packages listed below, do. The application(s), and the location(s) within each application, are shown below.

pwEffect for DAZ Studio 3 (Core)

  • You can find new icons for loading this product in the following DAZ Studio Folders:
    • “Shader Presets:pwEffect_DS3”
    • “Shader Presets:pwEffect_DS3:pwEffect Resources”

pwEffect for DAZ Studio 4 (Core)

  • You can find new icons for loading this product in the following DAZ Studio Folders:
    • “Shader Presets:pwEffect_DS4
    • “Shader Presets:pwEffect_DS4:pwEffect Resources”
  • You can find new icons for this product in the following DAZ Studio Categories:

Additional Details

  • To apply pwEffect, have an object and one or more of its surfaces selected, and then double-click either the pwEffect shader preset, the pwEffect Neutral shader preset, or one of the other shader presets in the pwEffect Resources folder.
  • pwEffect is not compatible with DAZ Studio's Hardware Render feature. Surfaces using the shader will only appear correctly in a Software (3Delight) Render.

Resolved Issues

  • 2013-12-20 - Updated Metadata, moved documentation to ReadMe's folder.
  • 2013-12-3 - Moved presets to Shader Presets folder, for consistency. Updated support scripts to handle gamma.
