The Bear Dog is a savage prehistoric canine, who is the predecessor to both the modern bear and dog. This beast comes with custom high definition morphs and highly detailed textures for both 3Delight and Iray.

Also includes are 3 different fur options for use with any level of detail you require in your scene. One uses simple displacement maps to simulate fur on the texture itself. Then there is also a Fur Geoshell, which gives another level of fur detail and is very render friendly. Then we also have a LAMH preset which works for 3Delight, but can also be saved out as an object and used in Iray with the custom Material files included for Iray.

• You can find new icons for loading this product in the following Libraries:

• For DS Presets, Look in the “DAZ Dog 8/Characters/RawArt/Bear Dog” folder.

• For using LAMH with Iray, first load the dog in your scene and pose it appropriately.

• Then launch the Look at My Hair pane in Daz Studio.

• Click the Attach the LAMH Preset, and browse to the Bear Dog Character folder.

• After it is applied, export out as an object from the LAMH Tab by selecting “To OBJ”. This will take a moment, but will give you a popup prompt when finished.

• Then select the new fur group that is created (under the Bear Dog LAMH Group in the scene pane) and apply the included Iray material files to that group and render.
