Add some wonderful soft flowering plants to your renders with this set of ultra-realistic high-resolution models of some of our favorite woodland and hedgerow wildflowers.

Perfect for use in backgrounds or as hero plants for your characters, animals, and insects to alight on, smell or walk through. Equally, at home in an urban woodland or wasteland, these three species are found freely seeding in most temperate deciduous woodlands.

Cow parsley (Anthriscus sylvestris) is a native biennial or short-lived perennial rarely encountered in well-kept gardens. Usually, a wayside weed although if allowed to flower, it can be troublesome in orchards, paddocks, churchyards and similar grassed areas. As well as being found covering the woodland floor in late spring with its waist high umbels of white and pink later turning beige as the summer heat commences. This plant could also be used for Queen Ann's lace, wild carrot and hemlock as they all look very similar. A truly diverse and very useful plant where some height and light is needed in a scene. Included are Material presets to change flower color from white to pink to beige to add more interest and depth.

Forget-me-not (Myosotis spp) A French knight was walking along a river with his lady. He bent down to pick her a pretty little blue flower, but his heavy armor caused him to lose his balance and he fell into the current. Before sinking forever, he tossed the flower to his lady, shouting “ne m’oubliez pas” (forget me not)! And that was how the forget-me-not got its name. Whether you want to use it for its romantic nature ( it symbolizes undying love) or just because this pretty little woodland and wildflower cover the ground in a blue haze of flowers, it will brighten up your renders and add a touch of elegance to many a Daz Studio scene.

The white wood-rush (Luzula luzuloides) is a flowering plant with grassy tufts of foliage and white flowers. It is native to Europe, it has also been naturalized to the British Isles and to the north-eastern USA and eastern Canada. It is a pretty plant which can be used as grass without the flowers or as an added layer of foliage and floral interest around the feet of your 3D characters. Included are material settings to adjust foliage color from green to brown and also to remove or re-add the flowers.

Additional Details

  • Please note these are high polygon models which will take up resources in your scene, use sparingly. To create an almost infinite variety of plants in your scene remember to adjust the y axis rotation slightly with each instance you use and also the scale within about 20 percent. This makes a big difference when the plants are used en masse. Because the plants' foliage and flowers use translucency different lighting environments will affect the color of leaf and petal in some instances.
