Additional Details

  • The three rigged props (tree, mouse, and fancy box) all have their root node in the scene tab and their “hip” bone (not called hip specifically) that's selected if you click on it in the viewport depending on how you have your selection/manipulation tools configured. You can move them around in your scene using either one but try to stay consistent or you will get confused when they rotate weirdly.
  • The cat bed's morphs are in actor/morphs in the parameters tab or you can find them in the shaping tab. Two are generic squish morphs and one is designed specifically for pose mc04 from the Feline Discovery Poses here: www.daz3d.com/feline-discovery-poses which are not required in any way to use this set, but they are very nice. It assumes that the Millennium Cat is scaled 46% to be more natural size. It's easiest to load the bed and cat, scale/rotate/translate the cat to fit into the recess and then parent the cat to the bed before moving it.
  • The cat tree has two bones each for moving the hanging toys, these are quick to access in the scene tab or just click on them in the viewport. The toy mouse has a lot of bones to move its tail, there are pose controls included to make it easier.
  • If you translate the litter box (bone) out of the fancy cat box and want it to sit flat on the floor set the Y-Translation to -2.0 cm. If you want a person to hold the litter box like in the promo image it's easiest to hide the box bone (eye icon in scene tab) of the fancy cat box and load an additional basic cat box so it can be parented to the human figure.
