• Tips and Tricks:
  • Remember! When you convert older clothing to the Uber Iray shader in Surfaces tab, you will probably need to change the glossy settings and add Metallic to any metal items.
  • I also recommend adding a smoothing modifier from the button in the Scene Tab and Edit—Geometry–Add Smoothing Modifier and setting the smoothing type to Generic and the samples to at least 5 and 7.
  • If the smoothing isn't quite enough try changing the mesh to High Res Sub-D!
  • These clones usually prevent clipping, but smoothing can help get rid of any little distortions that result from the translation between generations.
