Product Information

  • Required Products: None

Fire. It can be used to create, or to destroy. We use it every day for cooking, heating our homes, making pottery, creating jewelry and forging steel. But its dangers also abound in its careless use or intentional misuse.

A shout of “Fire!” can clear buildings in moments, bringing emergency workers to bear in an attempt to save property and lives. The very sound of the word strikes fear into the hearts of brave men, and makes women and children run screaming for their lives.

However, there is no escape from the conflagration brought about by dragons! When a dragon strikes with his most powerful weapon, stone and steel burn as though made of paper. He can use his wings to fan the flames into a wildfire that consumes entire cities. There won't be much left when the dragon departs.

This prop pack features 320 individual fire props for just about every kind of fire imaginable, from dragon's breath, to explosions, to a soft flame for lighting your temples at night. Bring your flaming visions to life with the ultimate fire props pack. Your dragons would kill for fire like this.

Additional Details

  • Tips for using FlameZ in Poser/DAZ Studio 3Delight:
    • Load a FlameZ pp2 from the Runtime/Libraries/Props/Jepes FlameZ menu into your Poser/DS (3Delight) scene and scale and place it according to your needs. All props use alpha textures for a transparent background, so you can use them in front of your main character and on different (best dark) background colors and scenes. Use the sixteen different deforming morphs in the HQ props in addition, to alter the effect's shape and direction, especially the taper morphs are fine to squeeze or widen the effect, if one is not enough, you take two of the same kind close together.
    • Keep in mind that they don’t cast light, so a point or spot light should do that if necessary. If the effect is to dark or too bright, you can adjust the ambience channel in the surfaces tab, it depends a bit on what kind of lighting you use in your scene.
    • FlameZ props are not limited to just be props. They can be used as camera or light gels, as foreground or background effects, you can of course use the textures for postwork purposes also.
    • If you load more than one FlameZ prop into your scene, set the z-Trans slightly different from the first prop. Otherwise you will get poor render results because it is better not to render two or more props in exactly the same place. I also recommend that all pp2's have a similar rotate amount; crossing them will always cause a visible line after rendering. They will look best when they are always positioned 90° parallel to the camera (everywhere).
    • If importing via DAZ Studio into Bryce some manual corrections in the Bryce Materials Lab may be necessary.
  • Tips using FlameZ in DAZ Studio Iray
    • Iray light emitting HQ props are in Props/Jepe/Jepe's FlameZ Iray/ FlameZ Iray Props content folder. Light emission is set to default 1500 W when loaded. Use the 11 Iray Material Presets one folder up to adjust the emission strength. Note that you can see the adjustments only in Iray Preview Mode!
