DefiantGoods and Canary3d's real-world fabric stash includes a fabulous 1953 salesman's sample kit from a defunct Chicago tailoring company.

We scanned 70+ unique swatches from this kit, made them seamless and lighting-neutral, and created height maps (normal and displacement) with hand-painted corrections to fully capture each pattern. Then we created a set of color-modified versions using contemporary fashion colors to balance the 1950's color palette of the original fabrics. Lastly we created a range of rich color-tinted basic weaves that coordinate perfectly with the more complex textures, so it's easy to put together stylish matching looks.

The result is a unique set of textures and shaders that will give your scenes and products real-world dimension and beauty. Each weave pattern has roughness/bump, height/displacement and normal maps in addition to 1 to 8 Color maps per weave. All maps are 4096 x 4096 for extreme detail even at very large render resolutions.

All presets come in Iray and 3Delight versions, for maximum choice in rendering.

This is a merchant resource. You may use the texture maps to create UV-specific textures for commercial items, and you may use the Iray and 3Delight settings to create your own material or shader presets. You may not redistribute the original seamless textures or use the textures to create tiling shader sets.
