These dragons of the frozen North are ancient and powerful beasts. They are primeval, and exist throughout legend and lore as the great foes of heroes and demigods.

Fafnir. Niddhog the Worm. Grafvitni the Cunning. The Tatzelwurm. Though less agile than their winged cousins, these wyrms dominate ancient lore, as well as nearly any foe they come across.
