If you are looking for a touch of the macabre these shader presets are perfect to add a touch of deathly inspiration. Not without a touch of humor patterns range from dancing plague rats to the deaths head moth. This set has 31 solid colors in velvet, silk, and cotton inspired by the colors of death and the graveyard including adipic gold, bruise, cadaver, grave mold, and putre taupe.

Additional Details

  • To use shader presets be sure that you have both the object and the surface on that object that you want the preset applied to in the scene. The simplest way to do that is to use the surface selection tool (looks like 3 little cards and an arrow) to select where you want the shader preset applied. Double click on the icon for the preset you want to use and it will apply to the surface.
  • All of the shader presets are somewhat variable depending on the level and type of light used in the scene. It is most noticeable with velvet and some silks. If you have too much velvet check that the headlight is not on in the scene. Not enough velvet effect may be due to not having a combination of indirect lighting and direct lighting. In some cases adding another light will solve the issue. I have included a light set used in one of the promos as an example. It was used in conjunction with 3 primitive planes used to make a corner with and cotton shaders used on it's surface.
  • Bonus light has two parts. One will add the spotlights and a simple emissive plane and the other will add the environmental element.
