This addon set updates both Rural Chateau I and II with all new Iray materials. In addition, the scene files as used in the promo artwork are also included. Please note that the original products are required for use and that you are using the latest versions of them.

Below is a list of the installation package types provided by this product. The name of each package contains a Package Qualifier, which is used as a key to indicate something about the contents of that package.

Notes:

• The set features Iray materials for both Rural Chateau I and II. As a result, they are required for use.
• The same file structure is kept from the original versions, so existing scenes can be updated to the Iray shaders by simply replacing the materials using the material settings provided. You will find new Iray specific scenes and materials in each products 'Iray' specific folder.
• Scene files as used in the promos have been included, which are located in each products folder in Scenes\Iray\Promos. The other files are all located in their original product folders.
• There is an update to the original set of products too, so if you have downloaded the original set prior to October 2016, please ensure you are using the latest versions. Please bear in mind that it will break any saves you have made, since the original data files are changed. So if you require backwards compatibility with existing save data please back up your files first.
• For Iray promo scenes, please ensure you disable the setting 'Ignore when opening a scene file' under Render Settings if you wish to load the settings contained in those scenes (ie whatever settings I personally use for that particular scene)
• A new chair has been added which is more suitable for sub-dividing. It's more of a hack to retain the original geometry, but the object can be sub-divided now and have only the cushion visible. Another chair can be added, and the cushion be made invisible - this then blends the smoothed cushion with the hard-edged wood trim. You can see the effect in action in the Promo_3 scene.
