Need some Polynesian in your library? This pack of poses is a combination of some poses throwing up the shaka sign and the intimidating dance of the Haka.
The origin of the Shaka is fairly unknown. But one story ties it to a man that lived in Laie, Oahu named Hamana Kalili. He lost his 3 middle fingers in a sugar mill accident. After the accident, he was put in charge of guarding the train and his signal to indicate the train was all clear of underage train jumpers was his waving that particular hand. Shaka has become known in Hawaii as a greeting, a farewell, a sign of Aloha. The Haka dance was actually both used as intimidation on the battlefield as well as when coming together in peace.
It's a display of pride, strength, and unity. It's done at birthday parties, graduations, funerals, and recently in sports such as rugby or American Football.
This set of poses was inspired by the Kimo release but were crafted using the Genesis 3 Male. Poses will work with other characters with some tweaking.
