Additional Details

  • USE:
    • Oddities and Explanations:
      • When you first open the folder it may be something of a shock to see Cookie decapitated and her hair in pieces, but there is a reason for these things. Let me quickly explain.
    • First of all, ! Cookie is the character all in one piece, there is no need to assemble her from the head and body that is not what those are for! When you spy the head and body separates, those are actually additional functionality for the character. The head may be smart parented to other characters like Aiko3 or NearMe with a little bit of work. Hide their original head, teeth and eyes then just load Cookie-Head and conform it to the character. You may have to translate, rotate, and scale to get it in the best possible position; however with a little work it is possible.
    • Now Cookie's Body? Well not many characters out there have heads designed so that they can be taken off without leaving a gaping hole, however future plans for Cookie include a head like Cupcake has, only instead of an entirely new character to fuss with, it'll be a conforming head that you can just put on this body, add a tail and go!
    • And what about the hair in pieces? Well the hair is designed with a similar thought in mind. Instead of hair products that you can only use one way for one style with maybe a few morphs, Cookie's hair has been designed so that you can take the bangs you want, add the back of the hair you want, apply the texture you want to both, and now you've put together your own personal hair. So while you see 2 bangs styles and 2 hair styles, you actually aren't seeing 2 hair styles but 4! Mix and match how you will and mix in future hair packs for even more personalization.
  • DS Users:
    • Please be aware that there are magnets hidden inside of Cookie's Head that control how her eyes function. These should be largely invisible, however if under your preferences you have selected 'Auto Magnetize' you may witness some strange behaviour in Cookie's head and hair products conformed to her. If you have already loaded, simply go to the head portion of the hair showing strange behaviour and look for a Morph labelled 'DForm' or something similar with a setting of 100%. Change the setting to 0 and the weird behaviour will go away. If you haven't already loaded, simply change your preferences to turn Auto Magnetize Off and you will have no trouble at all.
  • Morphs:
    • The morphs on Cookie's face are divided into many sections however some of the morphs you might notice will effect more than just what they say they will. For instance some of the brow morphs may nudge the eyelid/lashes slightly. There should not be much of an effect however the slight movement is there to allow for smoother motion without the mesh bunching up and creasing for large changes. Additionally you might come across a morph like Mouth-ShySmile that changes not only the mouth, but the cheeks and the lower eye. This one is simply because the the majority of the effect was giving the girl a shy facial smile, but since all the smile expressions are in the mouth, it was grouped with them for ease of use.
  • Two morphs included with this pack, Lips and Lower Lip give Cookie the appearance of doll-like lips, however please be aware as you use these that they will distort the functions of the other lip morphs, especially the phonemes. Mixing morphs is an art form, go a little bit at a time and the results will be much more pleasant than automatically turning all morphs to 1.
  • Bikini:
    • This pack includes a bikini top and bottom for a starter outfit, however the Bikini bottom serves two purposes. First as clothing but second, when you hide the ribbons (morph on the body) the bikini bottoms can serve as underwear should you find your render requiring some. In most clothing packs underwear is not included and generally not necessary but for those few exceptions like a cheerleading skirt, the bottoms are here to help you out.
