Add a vintage grunge look to your DAZ Studio scenes with these preset shaders. Use for interiors or exteriors on any object that needs an aged look. 53 textures are supplied as both base and top layer presets. These include wood, mold, patterned and unpatterned textures. They can be used as they are, or you can combine top and base textures with one of the 16 detailing presets included to really grunge them up. Add scratches, cracks, mold, stains, rips, or scuffed effects easily. All the layers can be independently tiled, and tiling presets are also supplied. A PDF guide is also included with tips on combinations to get realistic detailing effects, but any combination of textures and detailing can be used. All the presets are made with seamless 2048 x 2048 textures, and can be used in any version of DAZ Studio that uses .DUF files.

Additional Details

  • Applying these shader presets in DAZ Studio is very easy and involves only a few clicks:
    • 1. Apply a base texture preset
    • 2. Apply a top texture preset
    • 3. Apply a detailing preset.
  • The texture presets can be used as they are without applying a detailing preset.
  • The included PDF guide provides examples and suggestion for base and top layers textures depending on the detailing preset being used.
  • When applied the preset texture will appear grey in the DAZ Studio viewport window. This is normal. The texture will appear correctly once a render is made.If you render before applying the detailing preset only the top texture will be shown. Once the detailing preset has been applied the base layer will be visible according to the detailing chosen.
  • As with any Shaders the appearance may vary according to the lighting used. The promotional images were rendered in DAZ Studio using UberEnvironment 2 in combination with DAZ Studio lights.

  • The texture files supplied may only be used as part of these DAZ Studio shaders, and may not be used separately as an artist's resource, nor may then be used in or as part of texture collections, a new product, or in any other re-packaging.
