Additional Details

  • Product Notes
    • The “UltruMarine Ocean for Poser” props have a volumetric effect that you can see in working mode. It affects the included props only, and works best when the props and lights are used together.
    • Scale all of the props at once to encompass larger scenes.
    • For renders at the very bottom of the ocean sphere turn off or delete the “sunlight” spotlight with gel.
    • When using the “Looking Up” camera delete or hide the sand prop.
    • The sand prop loaded separately can be used as a beach.
    • The wave pattern light gel is applied to a spotlight so that it can easily be repositioned, the light’s angles can be changed, the U and V scaling can be altered to tile the pattern etc..
    • For renders close to the water surface you will probably want to scale the UnderwaterSurface down. For example, you could scale the whole prop down to 10% and then scale the y axis down by 10% and reduce the material displacement by dividing by 100 to get a much closer view of the undersurface of the ocean.
    • The “AtmosDepthCue” presets apply to the “Atmosphere” object in the material room. Increase the “DepthCue_StartDist” to increase clarity of nearby objects. Increase “Depthcue_EndDist” to obscure everything further than the “StartDist” by more. Everything after “DepthCue_EndDist” is rendered as DepthCue_Color.
    • For clearer reflections flatten the WaterSurface by reducing the yScale parameter.
    • The camera presets load onto Poser’s “Dolly” camera - but you can use any camera you like, you’re not restricted to the presets.
    • Poser 8 and up supports larger, clearer thumbnails - versions prior to this will not show the included thumbnails as well. We would recommend resizing the thumbs to 93 * 93 for older versions of Poser.
    • For Poser 7 and up. Not recommended for earlier versions of Poser.
