Additional Details

  • Changelog:
    • Reworked some of the limbs JCMs to allow much greater movement and smoother transitions.
    • Helper dials and the actual JCMs are now hidden by default. This is done to avoid saving their values when you save a morph/character presets. Previously, the values were saved so they were causing problems when you apply morph/character presets made with posed figures.
    • Updated some of the thumbnails with better visual cues.
  • Usage Tips and Tricks:
    • The M4 presets will load the Elite Texture Jeremy Reduced Resolution NoGens textures. The G2M presets will load the Genesis 2 Male Phillip textures. These textures are included with DAZ Studio/Genesis Starter Essentials.
    • The M6 presets will load their respective textures, which is M6 Nevio or M6 Bjorn. M6 Nevio comes as the default textures for Michael 6 and M6 Bjorn is included in the Michael 6 HD Addon.
    • There are two presets for each texture/character set. One with SSS enabled and one without SSS. For the SSS presets, you will need to change the skin surface Subsurface Group ID if you want to use the presets on more than one character.
    • The light presets will load four lights - three diffuse/specular lights simulating a three point lighting and a specular only light. The three diffuse/specular lights comprised of a main light and offset (fill/rim) lights.
    • The difference between each light presets is only intensity. Here are values for each preset:
      • Lighter Ambient
        • Ambient: 195%
        • Main/Offset: 112.5%/61.875
      • Neutral
        • Ambient: 105%
        • Main/Offset: 187.5%/103.125%
      • Darker ambient

        • Main/Offset: 225%/123.75%
    • The default color for UE2 light is light grey (192,192,192). You can change this to warm or cool with the included Cool and Warm Ambient presets.
    • The materials and lights presets are meant to be used gamma correction enabled and with a Gain of 1.33 and Gamma of 1.8.
    • For debugging purposes, you will find the morph dials and other controls in the Parameters tab, under 'Actor/Full Body/People/Real World/Beautiful Bends'. A 'master' Disable All dial have been placed in the main section. If you need to fine tune joints, you can do so (per joint, left and right side) through the dials in the JCMControls sub section.
    • The corrective JCMs are inside the JCM sub section.
    • Dials in the Helper section are just ERC codes needed to make BBG2M work. They don't have any deltas associated.
    • Crotch Shape in the 'Actor/Lower Body/Hip/Real World/Beautiful Bends' is an additional corrective morph but is not a JCM. You can disable it if you wish (it is enabled by default).
