This product includes two figures/props and a lightset for both DAZ Studio and Poser. The main figure/prop is the Vampire Chapel which have several parts (independent bones) for example the gargoyle, the door, the gate (a metal grid which is hidden by default), the columns etc… Any of these parts can be hidden or not, translated, rotated or scaled according to your specific needs. The other figure/prop is a sky plane which give you the “outdoor” that can be seen through the windows. You need a different sky/outdoor? simply swap the image linked to the sky plane material with your own image and you get it. The lightset provided is the basic one that I used on the promo images except for a few tweaks I made depending on the camera angle.

For DAZ Studio users, I also provided a “ready to render” scene subsets that allow you to load everything including lights and a camera in a single click.

• Displacement:
  • I included displacement nodes for the columns. It makes them looks more grainy. To see the effect in Poser you have to enable «Use displacement maps» in the render settings tab. The displacement is optional, you will get good result even without using it. In DAZ Studio the displacement will render with the default settings, you have no parameter to change.

• Poser Users:
  • If you use the included light set I recommend these render settings:
    • Cast shadow: on
    • Raytracing: on
    • Indirect Light : With my light set, I prefer off … but you could enable it and see if you prefer the result.
    • Min shading rate 0.10 ( instead of default 1.0)
    • Displacement on or off (depending on your preference)
    • and if you render in a Poser Pro version, I recommend to disable the gamma correction in the render settings.

• DAZ Users:
  • In the render settings, I recommend to set the “Shading Rate” to a lower value like 0.3 or lower. It will give you more detailed rendered textures.
