Product Information

  • Required Products: None

Content Gatherer is a stand-alone tool for Windows and Mac OS X used to analyze content files for DAZ Studio 4 (and up) and for Poser 7 (and up). It determines all dependent files used or required by a content or scene file and locates them on the file system.

Whether you want to pack content files for distribution or for backup, or whether you want to know which content and files are used by a particular scene or content file, Content Gatherer will analyze the files for you to find all dependent files.

Content Gatherer locates references to external files like geometries and 3D model texture images in the content / Runtime folders of your installed Poser and DAZ Studio applications. This is also useful to detect if a file is missing or if there are different versions of the same file in different content folders - maybe even with different extensions. It also determines files that are associated to the content indirectly, such as thumbnails or the morphs for geometries in DSON format.

Finally, Content Gatherer will list all or selected files as a list with the actual files on your file system to pack them into a ZIP archive or to create a text list for the files.
