Product Information

Galloping Action is an 18-pose motion cycle for the Millennium Horse 2 and includes 12 Genesis rider poses.

The sequential poses give you a variety of choices for portraying single horses, with or without riders, as well as for stampeding herds and charging troops. The sequences are ideal for multiple comic book frames. And the cycle is suitable as basic animation key-frames.

The Millennium Horse 2 pose series features a series of horse action and drama for every equestrian adventure imaginable. All motion cycles are based on the stop-motion photography of Eadweard Muybridge.

This series includes basic action-cycles for Walking, Trotting, Cantering, Galloping, and Jumping horses. Each set is also designed to merge with others by transiting from certain key-frames. The horse can go from standing to walking to galloping (trotting and cantering) to jumping. It's a unique presentation of motion poses. There is a lot of latitude for customizing the poses and the combinations.

Galloping Action can start and end with a standing horse pose for a complete cycle of movement. Or it can be cycled into a continued gallop. Or it can be merged with another action sequence.

Partial poses to seat riders on a zeroed horse are included for Genesis Basic Male and Female, Genesis V4 and M4, and Genesis V5 and M5. As partial poses they can seat your other Genesis poses on the horse. There are also basic poses for galloping riders.

  • The Gallop Cycle starts from 2 standing poses, Galloping 00.duf and Galloping 000.duf.
    • Galloping 001.duf starts the actual galloping sequence.
    • Galloping 001 and Galloping 016 are very similar poses.

    • To end the gallop after Galloping 016, cycle back to 000, then 00.
  • For galloping sequences you can add more neck motion and increase the forward distance between poses for the appearance of greater speed.
  • To merge the galloping cycle with the jumping cycle, go from Galloping-15 to Jumping-01 thru 18 and continue the galloping or jumping sequence.
  • The Genesis bareback rider poses are seated on the Galloping-13 horse pose, and are designated like “Rider G-13 V5.”
    • Attach the rider's Body to the Horse's Pelvis as Parent on the Galloping-13 horse. The seating will fit other galloping poses. Adjust the rider's hands to your mane pose.
  • Partial rider poses are intended to be a “head start” in posing Genesis figures to the horse, using the variety of your present collection of Genesis poses. Have fun!
