Talk Designer Assistant for Poser 8 is a plug-in which gives users the ability to make virtually any figure compatible with Poser's Talk Designer. Results are limited to the number of morphs a character has dedicated to standard phonemes.

Compatible with Poser Pro 2010!
* Compatible with Michael 4 and Victoria 4. Mac users should run the 'Talk Designer Assistant_P8_mac' version of TDA.
* Talk Designer Assistant is currently the ONLY plug-in which allows characters with large amounts of facial morph dependencies (such as Michael 4, Victoria 4, and Toon Gramps) to work directly with Poser 8's Talk Designer.
* Steps 1 and 2 are processes that need to be tuned per character only if the jaw(s) and tongue move independently of the mouth (morph). Please contact Anakele Vision and Design for your characters update script

Not all installation packages provide files that are displayed to the user within the interface of an application. The packages listed below, do. The application(s), and the location(s) within each application, are shown below.

Additional Details

  • If you save the current viseme map with the same name as a previous figure you will overwrite the previous .xml file with the new one.
  • Since every DAZ generation 4 character is slightly unique from each other (M4's tongue moves slightly different than V4's tongue, etc.) one must treat each character separately. You could use the same viseme maps if the morphs had the same names, but step 2 may not work perfectly because it adjusts certain parameters/actors that not all MIl4 figures share. Steps 1 and 2 are only used for characters where the upper/lower jaw, and tongue move independently from the morph. Each of these actors have several parameter that affect the overall motion. They must be adjusted using Step 2…in short, you COULD use the M4/V4 maps but you might get unexpected results. I haven't tested all characters. If a user comes across a character they can't use, as I state in the video, I will have to create a new step 1/2 for that character. Toon Gramps is a perfect example.
