Snow Globe Your World is a set of props, scripts, and shaders allowing you to create super easily a snow globe of anything you want, from a dragon to a mouse, from the Eiffel Tower to a castle, from Victoria 9 to a bicycle. It is extremely simple to use since you simply have to choose one of the many supports (stands) included, load one of the target globes and a target ground, and a script will place in the globe, on the target ground, all the elements you selected in the scene. All elements placed in the globe are automatically grouped so that you can easily transform them, for instance, if you finally decide to also place other elements in the globe too. If you want, you can use the various shaders included to lower the realism of the elements in the globe to give them a more plastic or porcelain aspect.

Even if some globes can already be loaded with flakes, you decide if you want to use flakes or not, and you can create your own specific flakes repartition. A script allows you to create instance groups of flakes in the globe, as many groups as you want, and you control the properties of the flakes added such as their preferred location, the number in the group, and their scale variations. Each group of flakes you add can be created using 5 base flake shapes, some morphable, all easy to reshade. This way you can have fewer flakes at the top, and more in the middle of the globe, some being blue, others being white, etc.

Even better, if you strongly increase their scale, the morphable target ground can also be used as a real snow ground in your scenes since relies on a tileable texture, and the instance groups of flakes can be used to generate bokeh effects or falling snow in your scenes.

The snow globes can be used not only for Christmas but as decorations in any scene you want, so what are you waiting for to “snow globe your world”?
