Rural Chateau II is an addon to the original Rural Chateau which adds a smaller room and selection of furniture props to fill it. It is designed to compliment the existing room, and the furniture can be arranged in either room as desired. Featuring the usual modular design, the set can be broken down into pieces and features preloads to load only what you require. The parts can be mixed and matched to create several different designs and will expand in size with further addon sets. Various preloads are included to get you quickly started, as well as the light set as used in the creation of the promos. While the Rural Chateau is listed as a requirement, this set can be used on it's own, however there will be gap where the doors should be (as these are utilized from the base pack, along with the radiators.) Please note, to use the fully loaded set I would recommend you have a reasonably powerful PC/Mac. Short-cuts can be made though using the flexibility of the product and limiting what parts you load.
In the RuntimeFiguresRural_Chateau_II folder load one of the !Pre cr2 files to preload the section of choice.
Any additional elements can be added by loading their respective cr2 file with the 'RC2_' prefix.
In the ContentEnvironmentArchitectureRural_Chateau_IIScenes folder load the !Preload .daz/.duf file to preload the section of choice. Any additional elements can be added by loading their respective .daz/.duf file with the 'RC1_' prefix.
Rural Chateau II is made up of separate sections, which when loaded up will create a full interior room. For ease of use, the preloads split the room and furniture, and can load them in different positions. Rural Chateau is required for maximum compatibility, however it can be used as-is - you will just be missing the doors and radiators. The furniture will function fine.
Breakdown and explanation of preload cr2's:
Loads the bed in the default centered position.
Loads the furniture, in relation to the room in situ with Rural Chateau (!Pre_Room)
Loads the furniture, positioned in relation to the room loaded in the default centered position.(!Pre_Room_Z)

As above, but with the addition of the long curtain and two radiators (from Rural Chateau).
As !Pre_Room, but in the default centered position.
In addition to the Poser specific materials (.mc6 and .pz2) there are D|S 3+ and DS4 specific materials (.dsa and .duf) files included . Poser 6 materials reside in the RuntimeLibrariesMaterialsRural_Chateau_II folder, P5 in the RuntimeLibrariesPoseRural_Chateau_II folder and DS materials in the ContentEnvironmentArchitectureRural_Chateau_IIMaterials folder.
There are DS3+ and DS4.5 lights included in this set, as used in the promo imagery. The feature both UberEnvironment, UberAreaLght Plane and a Distant Light. Quality (and subsequent render times) can be adjusted by altering the Samples value for each light, as found in the Surfaces tab. The lights also include the two sphere lights for the table lamps, but bear in mind if you move them, you'll need to just adjust the position of these lights to match.
All promos were created in DS 4.5 using the light set included. All postwork (such as the sun streaks) was done in Adobe Photoshop CS6.
For added realism when using the table lamps, increase the ambient in the surfaces tab for the material tbl_lamp_2 (set the ambient colour to white, and the strength to around 50%)
