Ice Queen

Tools Needed

  • Photoshop 7

Step 1 - Levels

Press Ctrl+l and change the levels like so, make the image a little more vivid:

Step 2 - Gaussian blur

Duplicate the layer, set the layer mode to overlay.

Then add a filter > blur > Gaussian blur: 1.5.

Then press Ctrl+u and make it blue:

Step 3 - Duplicate

Duplicate the bottom layer and move it to the top.

Step 4 - Lens Flare

Press Ctrl+Shift+u then add a filter > render > lens flare:

Step 5 - Layer Modes

set the top layer mode to multiply, the middle to screen. It should give some depth from top to bottom.

Merge all layers…

Step 6 - Icy

Now let's make her a little bit icy.

Press Ctrl+U, use these settings.

Step 7 - Rotate

Now you'll need to do a edit > transform > rotate 90 CW.

Do a filter > stylize wind > use a wind setting, and from the left or right depending on how you rotated your girl, just make sure that the wind is blowing DOWN her face when you rotate the image back.

Rotate the image back to normal:
