Description

If you've ever tried to make a desktop wallpaper, chances are you've run into this problem. The image you want to use is too small for your desktop and becomes distorted and ugly when you apply it. Fear not, because I've spent years looking for solutions to this problem. In Part 1 I help you figure out your desktop resolution as well as methods like framing and blending. In Part 2 I go further, teaching you how to extend the edges of the picture and accommodate things like desktop icons, widgets and the task bar. Some experience with Photoshop is required. These tutorials are hosted offsite and can be found at the links above.
